Shawn H. Head - Managing Member

Shawn is the founder and managing member of The Head Law Firm, PLC. Shawn was named one of Metro Detroit’s Top Lawyers for the years 2014, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 by DBusiness Magazine. He was also been selected as a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers for several years and was selected as a Super Lawyers Selectee in 2023 and 2024, which is limited to no more than 5% of Michigan attorneys.

Shawn graduated Cum Laude from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. While attending Central Michigan, Shawn was a member of Phi Sigma Phi National Fraternity, and he served as the Chapter President for two years. He then went on to law school where he graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law with a Juris Doctor Degree.

In addition to practicing law, Shawn serves as the National Director of Crisis Management for Phi Sigma Phi National Fraternity, Inc. He also serves as a board member for several non-profit charitable organizations. Shawn is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the State Bar of Illinois, the Livonia Bar Association, the Michigan Association of OWI Attorneys, and the Oakland County Bar Association.
